According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are re-signing OT Sam Young to the roster.
Young was released in a procedural move to allow Las Vegas to put a player on injured reserve since Young wouldn’t go on waivers as a veteran.
Young, 32, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2010. He lasted just one year with Dallas before being claimed off of waivers by the Bills.
Young had a brief stint with the Jaguars before signing on with the Dolphins for the 2015 season. He was on and off of Miami’s roster before eventually signing with the 49ers last year.
Young was on and off of the 49ers’ roster last year.
In 2019, Young appeared in four games for the 49ers.
