Raiders Sign DE Carl Nassib To Three-Year, $25M Deal

Update:

Ian Rapoport reports that the Raiders have signed DE Carl Nassib to a three-year, $25 million deal that includes $17 million fully guaranteed at signing.

Nassib’s contract carries a max value of $28 million.

Jerry McDonald reports that the Raiders are signing free-agent DE Carl Nassib to a contract on Tuesday.

Nassib, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Browns back in 2016. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.59 million rookie contract when Cleveland waived him coming out of the 2018 preseason.

He was quickly claimed by the Buccaneers and finished out his rookie deal. Nassib is testing the open market for the first time in his career.

In 2019, Nassib appeared in 14 games for Tampa Bay and recorded 34 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, six sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
