Raiders Signing WR Keelan Doss Off Jaguars’ Practice Squad

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Raiders are signing WR Keelan Doss off of the Jaguars’ practice squad after making him “an offer he couldn’t refuse.”

According to Garafolo, the Raiders will give Doss a $300,000 signing bonus and a fully guaranteed $495,000 base salary to sign.

Garafolo adds that Doss went from a non-guaranteed $255,000 salary to $795,000 fully guaranteed plus an active roster spot in two days thanks to all that transpired with Antonio Brown.

Oakland had previously made an attempt to sign Doss off the Jaguars’ practice squad, but declined their first attempt.

Doss, 23, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of UC Davis. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Raiders, but wound up being a surprise cut coming out of the preseason.

The Jaguars later signed Doss to their practice squad.

During his college career at UC Davis, Doss caught 321 passes for 4,069 yards receiving and 28 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 44 games.
