ESPN’s Bill Williamsonย sees impending free agentย CB Tracy Porter as a decent option for the Oakland Raiders this offseason.
Williamson adds that this could be a short-term solution for Oakland as Porter is unlikely to command a high salary, which works well considering the Raiders cap situation and the fact that they are in desperate need of a cornerback.
Porter, 26, suffered aย seizure last summer, which really had impact on his 2012 season. He was rated as a below average cornerback the last two years by Pro Football Focus, so there are some concerns relating to his overall ability, even when healthy.
For what it’s worth, Porter comes in as our No. 93 best available player in ourย Top 100 Free Agentsย list.
