Raiders Tried Out Eight Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Oakland Raiders brought in eight players for tryouts in this week including WR Jordan Leslie and CB Jonathon Mincy.

The full list of tryouts for the Titans includes:

  1. CB Darius Hillary
  2. CB Jonathon Mincy
  3. CB Shaq Richardson
  4. WR Jordan Leslie
  5. WR Domonique Young
  6. S Eric Pinkins
  7. S Deron Washington
  8. DB Khari Vanderbilt

Of this group, the Raiders elected to sign Hillary to their practice squad.

Mincy, 25, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2015. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason and signed on with the Montreal Alouettes in time for the 2016 CFL season.

During his two years with Montreal, Mincy has recorded 108 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles over the course of 32 games.

At Auburn, Mincy totaled 211 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and 27 pass defenses over the course of four seasons.

Leslie, 25, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in 2015. He was among the Vikings’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason before later signing on to the Jaguars’ practice squad during the season.

The Falcons elected to sign Leslie to a future/reserve contract last year but he was once again among the final roster cuts. Leslie had a brief stint with the Titans before joining the Browns’ practice squad in October and returning to the team on a future/reserve contract this past January.

Unfortunately, the Browns cut him loose coming out of the preseason. He was later added to their practice squad before being called up a few weeks ago. Cleveland waived him from injured reserve back in October before he recently signed on to the Broncos’ practice squad.

In 2017, Leslie has appeared in two games for the Browns and caught one pass for 26 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
