Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams expected to re-sign veteran LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar to fill roster spot of injured LB Alec Ogletree.
Fisher told reporters Monday that he expects Akeem Ayers to fill in to be Ogletreeโs replacement while heโs out with an ankle injury. However, it canโt hurt to add some more depth and bring in a guy whoโs already familiar with the teamโs defensive scheme.
Dunbar, 30, was released by the Rams a month ago, as St. Louis trimmed their roster down to 53 players. He hasnโt found any reported interest since he became available.
In 2014, Dunbar appeared in 15 games for the Rams and recorded 36 tackles.
Weโll have more regarding Dunbar possibly returning to the Rams as the news is available.
