Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Rams are bringing in veteran S Dashon Goldson for a visit on Thursday.
The Rams previously showed interest in free agent S Donte Whitner back in April, but there hasn’t been any buzz about a deal between the two parties since then.
The Cowboys and Redskins both came up as potential options for Goldson. Although, that was back in March, and the two teams may feel comfortable about their current depth at the position.
Goldson, 31, was in the the fourth year of his five-year, $41.25 million contract that included $22 million guaranteed when he was released in a move that freed up $8 million in available cap space for the Redskins.
In 2015, Goldson appeared in 15 games for the Redskins and recorded 110 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble and three pass defenses for Washington.
