The Los Angeles Rams announced Tuesday that they’ve placed C Brian Allen and LB Bryce Hager on injured reserve.
Reports had said both players were done for the season due to injury, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
Allen, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Rams back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.1 million contract.
In 2019, Allen has appeared in nine games for the Rams and started every game. Pro Football Focus has Allen rated as the No. 27 center out of 35 qualifying players.
Hager, 27, was a seventh-round pick by the Rams in 2015 out of Baylor. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $2.35 million and played out the length of the deal.
The Rams signed Hager to one-year, $805,000 contract this past May. He’ll once again be an unrestricted free agent next year.
In 2019, Hager appeared in five games for the Rams and recorded 10 tackles and no sacks.
