Rams Sign DB Adonis Alexander Practice Squad

The Los Angeles Rams officially signed DB Adonis Alexander to their practice squad on Thursday.

Alexander, 23, was selected by Washington in the sixth round of last year’s supplemental draft. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $2.6 million but was waived by the Redskins coming out of the preseason this year and re-signed to the practice squad. 

Washington later released Alexander from their practice squad. 

Alexander played three seasons at Virginia Tech and recorded 125 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, seven interceptions, 17 pass defenses, and a forced fumble over the course of 32 games.

Alexander has yet to appear in an NFL game.
