Rams Sign 2020 Draft Class

The Los Angeles Rams announced Monday that they’ve officially signed their entire nine-player draft class to rookie deals.

Akers, 20, was a three-year starter at Florida State and earned second-team All-ACC honors last season. The Rams selected him with the No. 52 pick in this year’s draft. 

He’s projected to sign a four-year, $6,173,035 rookie contract that includes a $2,049,480 signing bonus. 

During his three-year college career, Akers recorded 586 rush attempts for 2,875 yards (4.9 YPC) and 27 touchdowns to go along with 69 receptions for 486 yards receiving (7.0 YPC) and seven touchdowns.  

Jefferson, 23, was a two-year starter at Florida. The Rams selected him with the No. 57 pick in this year’s draft. 

He’s projected to sign a four-year, $5,611,136 rookie contract that includes a $1,640,826 signing bonus. 

During his four-year college career, Jefferson had 175 receptions for 2,159 yards (12.3 YPC) and 16 touchdowns.

Lewis, 21, was a one-year starter at Alabama and earned second-team All-SEC honors last season. The Rams selected him with the No. 84 pick in this year’s draft. 

He’s projected to sign a four-year, $4,638,592 rookie contract that includes a $933,523 signing bonus. 

During his two-year college career, Lewis recorded 47 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three pass defenses, and one fumble recovery. 

Burgess, 21, was a one-year starter at Utah and earned an honorable mention for All-Pac 12 honors last season. The Rams selected him with the No. 104 pick in this year’s draft. 

He’s projected to sign a four-year, $4,499,404 contract that includes an $832,295 signing bonus. 

During his four-year college career, Burgess recorded 116 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, 0.5 sack, one interception, nine pass defenses, and two fumble recoveries.
