Rashad Jennings Still Has A Shot At Playing This Weekend

Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times Union updates the RB Rashad Jennings status for Week 2 by mentioning that his MRI didn’t reveal any significant damage and the team has yet to rule him out for this weekends game.

We’ll have to see how he does in the coming days,  but there is at least a chance he plays this weekend.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey mentioned that he does not expect to have RB Rashad Jennings for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, via the Florida Times Union.

Jennings suffered a knee injury during the game, which forced Maurice Jones-Drew back into the lineup as the team’s featured back. Jennings will undergo an MRI today, so we should know the extent of the injury a little later.

While the Jaguars seemed to be serious about giving Jennings an expanded role in the team’s offense, it now appears that things are back to normal with Jones-Drew as the focal point of their offense.
