Ravens CB Jimmy Smith Arrested Saturday

 

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Ravens CB Jimmy Smith was arrested and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct Saturday night in Towson, Maryland.


According to the police report, Smith refused a police officer plea to move away from the unknown women multiple times.

Statement from the Ravens team officials: “We’re gathering information about this,” Ravens senior vice president of public and community relations Kevin Byrne said via The Baltimore Sun.

Baltimore has now had five players arrested this offseason including starting running back Ray Rice. 

In 2013, Smith had a career year after totaling 58 tackles, two interceptions and a career-high 15 pass deflections. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 35 corner back in the league.
