Ravens Officially Sign CB Kyle Arrington To A Three-Year, $7M Deal

The Baltimore Ravens have officially signed former Patriots CB Kyle Arrington to a three-year contract on Thursday after he passed his physical.

  • Aaron Wilson reports thatย Arrington receives a three-year contract that will pay him an average salary ofย $2.5 million.
  • The total value of Arrington’s contract is $7 million and can increase to $8.5 million if he reaches incentives, per Jason La Canfora.
  • Arrington will make $2.8 million guaranteed in year-one of the agreement.
  • The Ravens also gaveย Arrington a $2 million signing bonus.

There was talk that Arrington could return to the Patriots, but the Ravens made it clear that they were in the market for cornerback help and Arrington was clearly among the best available free agent options.

Arrington, 28, was a bit of a surprise release by the Patriotsย early in the week, seeing as they no longer have Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner and Alfonzo Dennard.

In 2014,ย Arringtonย appeared in 14 games for the Patriots and recorded 39 tackles, one sack, no interceptions, two forced fumbles, a recovery returned for a touchdown and four pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 36 ย cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.
