Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens are expected to sign veteran CBs Aaron Ross and Dominique Franks to contracts following their recent workouts.
- The Ravens are reportedly signing veteran LB Austin Spitler and have already added DT Daniel Muir to their roster in recent days.
- Baltimore also brought in CBs Kevin Thomas, Drayton Florence, Marquice Cole and Bobby Felder to go along with WRs Mike Willie and Dezmon Briscoe for tryouts.
Ross, 31, worked out for the Lions back in April, but hadnโt found much interest before the Ravens brought him in.
The Jaguars released him just one year into his three-year, $9.75 million. Ross would later catch on with the Giants, but was unfortunately placed on season-ending injured reserve with a back injury in October of last year.
Franks, 26, hasnโt found any reported interest before he was brought in for a workout this week. He was a fifth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2010. He played four years for Atlanta and recorded 25 tackles, three interceptions and nine passes defensed.
