According to Ian Rapoport, the Ravens have been fined $250,000 for COVID-19 protocol violations earlier this season.
Baltimore was not docked a draft pick, however, per Rapoport. The fine amount is the same as others the league has enforced on organizations who are first-time violators of the protocols.
The Ravens had one of the worst outbreaks of the 2020 season the week heading into Thanksgiving, placing over 20 players on the COVID-19 list including QB Lamar Jackson.
At one point, the Ravens went 10 straight days with a positive test and it forced multiple postponements to their originally scheduled Thanksgiving night game.
Rapoport says the league determined in its review that four unique strains of the virus were in the building.
The Ravens suspended strength coach Steve Saunders for reportedly flouting the protocols and not wearing a mask inside the building.
