Ravens Re-Sign ERFA DB Jermaine Whitehead

The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed exclusive rights free agent DB Jermaine Whitehead to a one-year deal.

The Ravens have been aggressive in signing their restricted and exclusive free agents in recent days so that everyone is available for the start of offseason workouts.

Whitehead, 24, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of last year. He was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason before later signing to the 49ers’ practice squad.

The Ravens elected to sign him to their active roster in December of last year.

During the preseason, Whitehead recorded three total tackles and no interceptions for the 49ers.
