The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’veย re-signed ILB Albert McClellanย and placed CB Maurice Canady (thigh) on injured reserve.
The Ravens needed to bolster their depth at linebakcerย after C.J. Mosley suffered aย knee injury last Thursday.
McClellan, 32, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in 2010. He finished out his two-year contract with the team before signing a new three-year, $3.75 million contract in 2016.
McClellan was set to make a base salary ofย $1.25 million for the 2018 season when the Ravens released him coming out of the preseason.
Inย 2016,ย McClellan appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 55 tackles and a sack.
