The Ravens announced on Monday they have signed nine players to futures deals for the 2020 season.
The full list includes:
- LB Aaron Adeoye
- DB Terrell Bonds
- G Will Holden
- DE Ufomba Kamalu
- WR Sean Modster
- DE Michael Onuoha
- OT R.J. Prince
- TE Charles Scarff
- WR Antoine Wesley
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Holden, 25, is a former fifth-round pick by the Cardinals in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Vanderbilt. He spent one season with Arizona but was among their final roster cuts last year.
Holden has played for several teams including the Colts, Saints, Cardinals, Dolphins, Seahawks and 49ers. San Francisco released him in 2019 and he caught on with the Ravens’ practice squad.
In 2018, Holden appeared in four games for the Cardinals.
Kamalu, 26, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2016. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was later signed on to Houston’s practice squad before eventually being called up in November.
The Texans re-signed Kamalu to an exclusive rights contract in 2018 but he was once again among their final roster cuts. After a brief stint with the Cardinals, Kamalu was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad.
New England waived Kamalu during final roster cuts in 2019 and later re-signed him to the practice squad. The Ravens signed Kamalu to their active roster in October before later waiving him and adding him to the practice squad.
For his career, Ufomba has appeared in 15 games and recorded 12 tackles and three sacks.
