The Baltimore Ravens have signed veteran QB Matt Schaub to a contract, according to Peter King of MMQB.com.
- Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sunย reportedย thatย Schaubย wasย meeting with the Ravens Tuesday afternoon.
- According toย Zrebiec, theย Ravens are looking to add competition for backup QBย Keith Wenning before training camp.
Schaub, 33, signed a two-year, $13.5 million contractย that includedย $8 million guaranteed after the Raiders sent aย sixth-round pick to the Texansย for him.
Unfortunately, Schaub lasted just one year in Oakland before he was released in a move thatย freed up all $5.5 million in cap space for the Raiders.
In 2014, Schaub was active for 11 games, but was limited to playing just 19 snaps. Heย completed 5 of 10 passes for 57 yards and two interceptions.
