Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore Transitioning To Offensive Line

According to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun, Ravens free agent Crockett Gillmore is transitioning from tight to offensive line.

Zrebiec adds that Gillmore is working out with highly respected offensive line trainer LeCharles Bentley to help him make the transition.

Regarding his future with the Ravens, Zrebiec says it’s unclear how this will impact a potential return to Baltimore, but the team should at least be intrigued by this move.

Gillmore underwent surgery to repair his MCL last summer and subsequently missed the entire 2017 season.

Gillmore, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.906 million contract and set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.

The Ravens waived Gillmore with an injury designation and he later reverted to their injured reserve list after clearing waivers.

In 2016, Gillmore appeared in seven games and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and one touchdown.
