Ravens Waive RB Bobby Rainey, Claim OT Andrew Donnal From Rams

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve waived RB/KR Bobby Rainey and claimed OT Andrew Donnal off of waivers from the Rams on Monday.

Rainey, 30, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky back in 2012. He spent over a year in Baltimore before being waived at the start of the 2013 season and later claimed by the Browns.

Rainey lasted just a few months in Cleveland before he was once again waived and this time claimed by the Buccaneers. The Giants signed him to a one-year contract last April.

Rainey signed on with the Ravens this summer but was released as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. Baltimore brought Rainey back a month ago.

In 2017, Rainey has appeared in four games for the Ravens and rushed for two yards on one carry and caught five passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He has also contrbuted 338 kick return yards and a touchdown.
