According to Howard Balzer, the Ravens brought in nine free agents for tryouts on Thursday including QB Matt McGloin.
The full list of tryouts includes:

- LB Quentin Gause
- LB Jeff Knox
- RB Roy Finch
- RB Travon Van
- S Daniel Henry
- QB Matt McGloin
- WR DeVier Posey
- CB Cody Riggs
McGloin, 28, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in 2013. He surprisingly has managed to make the 53-man roster each year since entering the league and returned to the Raiders last year on a one-year, $2.553 million restricted deal.
As an unrestricted free agent, McGloin signed a one-year contract with the Eagles but was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. McGloin signed on with the Texans this past November but was waived a week later.
In 2016, McGloin completed 8 of 15 passing attempts (53.3) for 50 yards passing and no touchdowns or interceptions.
