Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports that Ravens WR Willie Snead tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
Snead is the 23 players for the Ravens to test positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks.
As of now, the Ravens’ Week 12 matchup against the Steelers is still scheduled to be played on Tuesday. However, positive tests continue to surface every day.
Snead, 28, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Cleveland before signing on to the Panthers’ practice squad during his rookie season.
Snead eventually joined the Saints towards the end of the year and would go on to spend three years in New Orleans. From there, Snead signed a two-year offer sheet worth up to $10.4 million with the Ravens last year.
Snead agreed to a one-year, $6 million extension that is fully guaranteed for the 2020 season. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
In 2020, Snead has appeared in 10 games for the Ravens and caught 28 passes for 379 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
