The Washington Redskins re-signedย DE Frank Kearse on Monday and waived LB Terrance Plummer to make room for him.
- Washington alsoย signed WR Issac Blakeney andย LB Lynden Trailย to their practice squad.
- LB Sage Harold was released to make room for their new additions.
The Redskins’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Issac Blakeney
- LB Lynden Trail
- C Austin Reiter
- LB Nico Johnson
- LB Houston Bates
- CB Dashaun Phillipsย
- T Takoby Cofield
- DE Corey Crawford
- TE Je’Ron Hamm
- RB Trey Williams
Kearse, 26, is a formerย seventh-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Miami before he later signed on with the Panthers.
Since then, Kearse has played for the Titans and Cowboys before joining the Redskins on a one-year contract back in May. He’s been on and off of the Redskins’ roster in recent weeks, and basically serving as their 54th player.
In 2014, Kearse appeared in 15 games for the Redskins and recorded 15 tackles and three sacks.
