The Washington Redskins officially placed OT Kevin Bowen on waivers Thursday with an injury designation.
Should Bowen clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Bowen, 23, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Central back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Redskins and stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.
During his senior year at East Central, Bowen was named to the 2015 All-Great American Conference First Team.
