Report: Bengals Bring In S Michael Huff For A Tryout

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Bengals brought in former Ravens S Michael Huff for a tryout on Monday.

Huff, 30, signed a three-year contract worth $6 million, which also included a $1.5 million signing bonus with Baltimore during the offseason. Huff contributed just four tackles before being benched. In fact, Huff did not play a single snap for weeks before he was ultimately released along with DE Marcus Spears.

The Oakland Raiders drafted him with the No. 7 overall pick back in 2006, but he has never came close to living up to his draft status.

We’ll have to see if this was just the Bengals doing their due diligence or if they actually interest in possibly adding some help at safety.
