Bills Releasing QB Jordan Palmer

According to Tom Pelissero of USA Today, it “sounds like” the Bills are releasing veteran QB Jordan Palmer as part of their final roster cuts.

Recent reports have mentioned that the Bills are still in the trade market for a backup quarterback, which implied that Palmer could be released.

Palmer, 30, was released by the Bears on Sunday after the team decided to go with Jimmy Clausen as their backup quarterback. He signed with the Bills just a few days ago.

Palmer last appeared in an NFL game during the 2010 season while he was playing for the Cincinnati Bengals.
