Report: Broncos To Discuss An Extension With HC John Fox During The Offseason

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Denver Broncos will discussion a contract extension with HC John Fox at some point this offseason.

According to La Canfora, Fox should get a “nice raise,” despite the fact that he’s yet to a Super Bowl in his head coaching career. Of course, that could always change depending on how things go during the offseason.

Fox is currently in the third year of a four-year deal he signed with Denver back in 2011. He was forced to miss four games due to heart valve replacement surgery. The Broncos went 3-1 record with Fox sidelined, thanks in large part to interim coach Jack Del Rio.

Since Fox took the job, Denver has won over 70 percent of their games and are currently tied for the best record in the league.
