Report: Former Colts WR Marvin Harrison Involved In Shooting

David Gambacorta of Philadelphia Daily News reports that former Colts WR Marvin Harrison was involved in a shooting that occurred Friday night.

According to the report, Harrison was driving his Ford F-350 pickup truck at 3:20 a.m. when a man flagged him down in an attempt to escape two intruders who had broken into his apartment.

One of the men fired shots at Harrison’s vehicle, but neither of them were wounded in the shooting.

Harrison is reportedly cooperating with the investigation. The victim said that the burglars stole close to $500 in cash from his apartment.

Harrison, 41, retired from the NFL back in 2009 after spending 13 seasons with the Colts. He has been involved in a number of off-the-field issues since hanging it up, but it doesn’t sound like this was in anyway his fault.

His name has come up as possible Hall of Fame nominee, but he has yet to make the list of players being consideration for induction.
