Report: FSU WR Kelvin Benjamin Visited With Eagles Monday

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin was among the draft prospect who visited with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.

  • Other prospects who visited with the team Monday include: Montana LB Jordan Tripp and Oklahoma CB Aaron Colvin.

Benjamin possesses exceptional size at 6-foot-5 and is considered by some to be a first-round talent.

Recent reports mentioned that the Jets are “very intrigued” by Benjamin, so there is a chance that he may not be on the board by the time the Eagles are on the clock at No. 22 overall.

Benjamin has generated a large amount of interest this offseason having already visited with the Jets, Ravens and Patriots so far.

Philadelphia has already parted ways with DeSean Jackson this offseason and could use some size at receiver. Texas A&M WR Mike Evans is reportedly also on the Eagles radar as well, but it appears likely that he will be drafted in the top 15 picks.
