Michael Crabtree To Be “Game Ready” By Mid-To-Late November

San Francisco 49ers HC Jim Harbaugh told reporters that WR Michael Crabtree will be “game ready” by mid-to-late November, per Matt Barrows.

On the PUP list recovering from an Achilles injury, Crabtree will be eligible for activation come Week 7. Though it is likely he won’t return until sometime later in the season. A return in Week 10 would sense considering that the 49ers have their bye in Week 9.

San Francisco currently ranks No. 31 in passing offense, so they could use all the help they can get in terms of passing production. The 49ers have been trying to find a decent No. 3 option to compliment TE Vernon Davis and WR Anquan Boldin, but guys like Kyle Williams, Quinton Patton and Jon Baldwin haven’t been able to produce for them.

It’s worth noting that Crabtree finished the 2012 season as the No. 7 best receiver in the league, according to Pro Football Focus.
