Report: Multiple Dolphins Players Have Contacted Agents About Wanting Trade Out Of Miami

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a league source with knowledge of the situation, reports that multiple Dolphins players have contacted their agents after the team’s Week 1 loss to the Ravens and asked them to try to engineer trades elsewhere.

According to Florio, the Dolphins believe the coaching staff isn’t serious about winning or competing this season, despite what they’ve said publicly.

Dolphins first-year HC Brian Flores has said multiple times that they’re committed to winning in 2019, even after trading away LT Laremy Tunsil and WR Kenny Stills coming out of the preseason.

Florio does, however, add that the Dolphins have told him that they have yet to hear from any agents or players about wanting out and they haven’t received any requests from players looking to be traded.

One report said a few weeks ago that trading away Tunsil could result in internal issues with some of the team’s players.

Miami was linked to Jadeveon Clowney and actually met with him, but they were unable to convince him to sign his franchise tender to facilitate a trade to the Dolphins.

We’ll have more regarding the Dolphins as the news is available.
