Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have released veteran WR Austin Collie.
- New England signed WR LaQuan Williams to their active roster on Tuesday.
He caught three passes for 34 yards in two games for the Patriots this season. There is a chance he could be brought back if someone were to get injured in the coming weeks.
Collie worked out with numerous teams over the past few months before ultimately signing with the Patriots. The 27-year old receiver is trying to catch on with a team after he dealing with numerous concussions over his five-year career.
