- ESPN’s Adam Schefter has confirmed the deal and adds that Boldin will need to pass a physical before it’s complete.
- Albert Breer reports that the 49ers will receive a 2013 six-round pick.
- Pro Football Talk reports that the 49ers won’t ask Boldin to take a pay cut and intend to pay him his $6 million salary.
- Pro Football Talk also reports that the Vikings offered a seventh-round pick for Boldin.
Even though the compensation may not match Boldin’s talent, the Ravens ensure that they received some amount value in return for a player that they were likely to release. They also traded him out of the AFC.

Pro Football Talk is reporting that league sources have informed them that the Ravens are now trying to trade WR Anquan Boldin rather than release him.
Albert Breer has confirmed that the Ravens are trying to trade Boldin. Breer adds that trading him would leave Baltimore with $1.53 million in dead money, but ultimately save $6 million in cap space.
