Report: Texans To Interview Mike Munchak For OL Coach, Hire Mike Vrabel As LB Coach

John McClain reports that former Titans HC Mike Munchak will interview with the Texans on Friday for the vacant offensive line coach position.

  • McClain adds that Munchak is regarded as one of the games best offensive line coaches and adds that the Texans should try and pursue Bruce Matthews as his assistant coach.

Former Patriots LB Mike Vrabel announced on Thursday that he’s leaving his job at Ohio State to join the Houston Texans as their linebackers coach.

If new head coach Bill O’Brien was able to bring in Munchak and Romeo Crennel, who is reportedly being considered for the defensive coordinator position, he would have a very solid coaching staff in place.
