Rob Gronkowski Still Recovering From Injury

Mike Reiss of ESPN writes that TE Rob Gronkowski is still using a walking boot after undergoing surgery on his ankle following the Super Bowl. Reiss adds that Gronkowski will be in the boot for “a couple more weeks.

Leading up to the Superbowl, the injury was reportedly as a high ankle sprain but it was revealed that Gronkowski had tore some ligaments in his ankle which would require surgery.

Gronkowski was asked by reporters when his walking boot will be off to which he responded, “I don’t know yet. That’s all in a couple more weeks.”  He is going to try and be healthy when the Patriots begin off-season team activities in mid-April, but did not guarantee that he would be able to do so.
