Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Saints are signing former Packers S Chris Banjo to a contract on Monday.
Banjo, 26, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of SMU back in 2013. He lasted just a few months with Jacksonville before he was cut and later signed by the Packers.
Banjo returned to the Packers on an exclusive rights deal back in April. However, the Packers elected to place him on injured reserve a few weeks ago and later cut him loose with an injury settlement.
In 2016, Banjo has appeared in two games and recorded two tackles and no interceptions for the Packers.
