Evans, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2006. He spent 10 years in New Orleans before he was cut in a move that cleared $1.1 million in available cap space for the Saints.

The Seahawks signed Evans to a one-year, $1.065 million contract close to a month ago.

In 2015, Evans appeared in 11 games for the Saints. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 guard out of 82 qualifying players.
