Seahawks Keeping Tarvaris Jackson As QB Next Season?

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters that the teams plans on keeping Tarvaris Jackson as their starting quarterback next season, per Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times.

That’s where we are,” said Carroll. “That doesn’t mean that we’re not going to look at the draft really hard and all of the opportunities. We’ll always do that at every position. But [for] T-Jack, understanding what this season has been like for him is really important.”

Jackson’s numbers really aren’t fantastic as he’s only passed for 2869 yards to go with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The Seahawks have to be considering drafting a quarterback after passing on Andy Dalton last year. We have Seattle taking Ryan Tannehill out of  Texas A&M in our latest 2012 Mock Draft.
