Britt tore his ACL during Sunday’s game and will have reconstructive surgery as the first step in his recovery process for 2020.
Britt, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3,546,930 contract and set to make a base salary of $891,399 for the 2017 season when the Seahawks signed him to a three-year, $27 million extension.
Britt stands to make base salaries of $4.5 million (2019), and $8.25 million (2020) over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2019, Britt has appeared in eight games for the Seahawks and made eight starts.
