Seahawks Sign CB Perrish Cox

The Seattle Seahawks officially announced the signing of CB Perrish Cox.

Cox, 26, worked out for Seattle on Monday, which comes just a few weeks after he was waived by the San Francisco 49ers. Cox never contributed much to the 49ers secondary, rarely ever exceeding 15 snaps per game over the course of two seasons in San Francisco.

With Brandon Browner likely done with the Seahawks following another suspension and Walter Thurmond III serving a suspension of his own, Cox could see game action at some point in the near future.

Byron Maxwell and Jeremy Lane are likely to see playing time opposite of Richard Sherman on Monday.

There are reports that Antoine Winfield could be re-signed as well, but he’s reportedly mulling his options as of now.
