Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Meder, 27, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Ashland back in 2014. He was one and off of their practice squad during the 2014 season before eventually signing on to the Browns practice squad and finishing out the year in Cleveland.
The Browns elected to bring Meder back on a restricted deal last year, but he was waived coming out of the preseason and wound up sitting out the entire 2018 season.
In 2017, Meder appeared in 10 games for the Browns and recorded 13 tackles and no sacks.
