Seahawks Signing OL B.J. Finney To Two-Year, $8M Deal

Tom Pelissero reports that the Seahawks are signing OL B.J. Finney to a two-year, $8 million deal.

According to Adam Caplan, Finney can make up to $9.5 million on his new contract.

Finney, 28, wound up signing on with the Steeler as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2015. He was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Steelers’ practice squad.

Pittsburgh brought Finney back on an exclusive rights contract in 2018 and re-signed him to a second-round restricted tender last offseason.

In 2019, Finney appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and started four. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 32 overall center out of 38 qualifying players.
