The Seattle Seahawks officially waived DE Eli Mencer from injured reserve on Friday.
Mencer wound up going undrafted out of Albany back in April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Seahawks.
Seattle waived Mencer with an injury designation coming out of training camp and he later reverted to their injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
During his four-year college career at Albany, Mencer recorded 198 tackles, 21.5 sacks, 12 forced fumbles, eight recoveries, two interceptions and nine passes defended over the course of 45 games.
