The Seattle Seahawks officially waived DE Marcus Webb with an injury designation.
Should Webb clear waivers on Thursday, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
The Seahawks officially signed TE Cam Sutton.
Webb, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Troy back in 2020. He later signed a rookie contract with the Seahawks.
Seattle waived Webb with a non-football injury designation during training camp last year. The Seahawks re-signed him to a one-year contract a few weeks ago.
During his college career at Troy, Webb recorded 78 tackles, 12.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of 35 games and four seasons.
