Seahawks Worked Out Former Raiders LB Miles Burris

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Seahawks recently worked out free agent LB Miles Burris.

This is the first reported interest in Burris since he was cut in May of last year.

Burris, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2012. After three years in Oakland, the Raiders waived Burris with an injury designation and later placed him on their injured resere list. The Raiders cut him loose a month later.

In 2014, Burris appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 110 tackles and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the worst qualifying inside linebacker in the league by a wide margin that year.
