Steelers LB James Harrison Likely To Sit Out Week 15’s Game?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported that Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison will be suspended for one game for the hit he placed on Browns QB Colt McCoy last Thursday.

Since then there was some speculation that Harrison may appeal the suspension but a recent tweet may suggest just the opposite.

Thank you to all my fans and supporters, I’m just going to move on from here and get ready for my next game.

Pro Football Talks Mike Florio mentions that Harrison may choose to sit out Monday nights game against the San Francisco 49ers but may instead appeal the fine of one game check ($73,529.41).

The Steelers are in a must win situation and the 49ers are coming off of a let down performance so both teams will need any possible advantage they can find. Not having Harrison and a banged up Ben Roethlisberger would qualify as just that.
