Steelers OT Ryan Harris Retiring From NFL

Cameron Wolfe reports that veteran OT Ryan Harris is retiring from the NFL after 10 seasons in the league.

Harris, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2007. He played out his rookie contract with the Broncos before signing on with the Eagles in 2011.

Harris later signed on with the Texans as an unrestricted free agent in 2013 and spent one year with the Chiefs and Broncos respectively before signing a two-year, $3.9 million deal with the Steelers back in March of last year.

Harris was set to make a base salary of $1.9 million for the 2017 season.

In 2016, Harris appeared in four games for the Steelers but was limited to playing 39 snaps. Unfortunately, Harris was placed on injured reserve with a shin injury.
