Steelers Plan To Target A RB In The Early Rounds Of The Draft?

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette writes that the Steelers could end up targeting a running back as early as the second-round in this year’s draft.

Bouchette specifically mentions that Lamar Miller (Miami), Robert Turbin (Utah State) and Terrance Ganaway (Baylor) could all be options at some point during the draft.

The fact that Rashard Mendenhall will most likely miss a good majority of the 2012 season should be enough for them to address the position at some point during the draft. Mendenhall will also be a free agent at the end of next season, so it would make sense to have a young, low-cost option in place for them as they move forward.
