Steelers Re-Sign WR Darrius Heyward-Bey

The Steelers announced that they have re-signed WR Darrius Heyward-Bey to a one-year deal Thursday.

Heyward-Bey had only three catches for 33 yards in 2014.

It will be difficult for Heyward-Bey to even approach the numbers he used to post with WR Antonio Brown, Markus Wheaton, and Martavis Bryant ahead of him. The Steelers will likely however, have a high octane offense that can find a way to use Heyward-Bey.

Heyward-Bey, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders.  He spent four years in Oakland before landing in Indianapolis in 2013, and in Pittsburgh in 2014.
